Bee flying near rhododendron flowers

We had maybe a dozen bumblebees working the flowers of one particular rhododendron today. I really wanted to get a photo of them - it's harder than you might think! Catching them in a blossom is pretty easy; but capturing them in flight (and in focus) was quite a challenge, at least for me...

I'm not going to tell you how many photos I took. All I can say is - thank heaven for digital!
